Learn the Bible Together is a small ministry website offering free Bible study materials — teaching videos, quizzes, coloring sheets and printable word games — one chapter at a time. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose.
What We Collect
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address. That is all the form asks for.
If you send a prayer request, we collect your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to write. Please share only what you are comfortable putting in an email.
If you contact us, we collect what you put in the form or the email you send.
If you send us a review, we may share it on this website only if you check the box giving us permission. We show your first name only — never your surname or email address. If you change your mind later, write to us and we will take it down.
If you donate, your payment is handled entirely by Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your card number. We receive only what those services pass back to us — typically your name, email address and the amount given.
When you simply visit, our web host records ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you opened. This is standard server logging and is used to keep the site running and secure.
What We Do With It
- Send you the newsletter, if you asked for it
- Pray for the requests people send us, and reply where appropriate
- Answer your questions
- Share reviews on this website, but only when you have given permission
- Process and acknowledge donations
- Understand which chapters people are using, so we know what to make next
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade or share it for anyone else’s marketing. We do not send you email you did not ask for.
Who Else Is Involved
Running a website means relying on other companies. These are the ones that may handle your information, and each has its own privacy policy:
- Hostinger — hosts the website and our email
- Hostinger Reach — stores newsletter subscribers and sends our emails
- Stripe and PayPal — process donations
- Google — Google Analytics and Search Console, through Google Site Kit, tell us how many people visit and which chapters they use
- YouTube — hosts our chapter videos; watching one is subject to YouTube’s own policy
Cookies
The site uses cookies to make pages load faster and to keep our forms working. Google Analytics also sets cookies that count visits and show us which chapters people are using; they do not tell us who you are by name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Children
Many of our materials — the coloring sheets especially — are made with children in mind, and we are glad when families and classrooms use them. The site itself is intended for adults to use and share.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Children do not need to give us anything to download or print any of our materials. If you believe a child has sent us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Choices
- Unsubscribe — every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list.
- Ask us to delete your information — email us and we will remove what we hold.
- Ask what we hold — email us and we will tell you.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your personal information. We will honor any such request we receive, whether or not the law where you live requires it of us.
How Long We Keep Things
Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Prayer requests and messages are kept as long as we need them to respond and pray. Donation records are kept as long as required for our records and by the payment processors.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
