The Bible
is created by God for us to read, understand and implement into our daily lives. Knowing the word of God is the first step to living a life of true freedom, foregoing the stresses and pressures of this world and understanding we do not need to walk or overcome this life alone. There is a God who loves, created, and sent His son to die for us – all so we may acknowledge, follow, desire and love HIm.
God has given us many promises, examples and encouragement in His word. He does not expect us to be perfect. He understands we will sometimes fail – maybe fail early and often. He does not care about those failures. He cares about repentance and drawing closer to Him. He is constantly cheering us on and has provided His word in order for us to overcome our struggles. He expects us to make an effort to get to know Him – and reading His word is a great way to start! The bible is a living document with fresh and new insights from God are constantly being communicated to us. Reading and re-reading His word is a life-long endeavor and you don’t need to do it alone!
